Hippity Hoppity, Your Easter Gift Hunt Stops Here

There’s been a bit of a lapse in my excitement levels at Easter for many years now (mostly due to the fact journalists have to work over the long weekend – the news doesn’t stop, people!)

It’s brilliant when you’re a kid and do Easter egg hunts. But once you’re old enough to buy choccy when you please it’s not quite as thrilling.

But fast-forward a few years and I’m on maternity leave, Millie is 19 months and full of wonder and I’m getting ready for a happy Easter. The thrill is back!

It’s taking all my willpower not to go crazy buying gifts, but there’s some really sweet new season things out at the moment which would enable families to have a chocolate-free Easter (ok – just a couple of small eggs as well!)

My mum used to buy us jarmies every Easter and I think I’ll do the same for Millie Moo.

I’ve managed to squirrel away a Jambo Mtoto bunny necklace (check out this site, all proceeds from purchases go to education projects in Africa).
