Fill their tummies, but not the land

Peppa Pig knows what’s what.

Recycle, recycle we’re going to recycle! Tin cans, bottles, newspapers…

But how about the fruit pouches and their plastic lids? Snack wrappers? In this household we’d go through at least a couple of pouches every day (both kids love them). I dread throwing out the packaging. We try so hard to recycle all we can but because kerbside recycling collections don’t accept them, it all ends up in the rubbish bin. Not anymore.

Thank goodness our dinner’s sorted

I like cooking. It’s the second-best part of dinner time – the eating is number one, of course. But instead of enjoying my time in the kitchen, the looming mealtime hangs over my head like a cloud. Finn, my little joey, loves being close to me in his ‘pouch’ – and this kangamumma is loving every minute of it.

img_1028

I took the modem out of the box, half expecting to have a bundle of paperwork fall into my hands on how to set up our new home internet. Lacking in patience, I sighed at the thought of being on the phone to a tech support person, guiding me through the process. I plugged in my Vividwireless modem to turn on the power. No sooner had I done that, little lights flashed on to tell me we were ready to go! The wifi popped up on my phone and I clicked. I had internet. No joke, it really was that quick. The easiest thing I’d done all week.
